About Us

Bardin McKnight Law LLC is a firm providing general practice with a focus on civil litigation, real estate actions, family law, criminal and CDL defense, wills, powers of attorney, successions, and business formation.

Devon Bardin McKnight is a DeRidder native and a 2002 graduate of DeRidder High School. She attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux before obtaining her law degree in 2010 at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable John C. Davidson in the 9th Judicial District Court for Rapides Parish in Alexandria. She then returned to Baton Rouge in 2011 where she practiced as a prosecutor for the City of Baton Rouge before beginning her career in private law in 2015. She returned to DeRidder in 2024 and focuses her general practice on various practice areas including on criminal defense, DWI/DUI, and more. She is married to P. Ellis McKnight and they have three children.
