DESCRIPTION:Watermelon Classic: Bulls & Barrels\n\n\n\nWe're excited to bring the Watermelon Classic: Bulls & Barrels rodeo to the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds on Saturday\, June 28\, 2025. Performance starts at 7:30 PM!\n\n\n\nAs you know our 2025 festival had to be rescheduled due to our original carnival cancelling in March. Our Growers Event is scheduled for Saturday\, June 28 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. \n\n\n\nWe are so excited to celebrate the harvest of our famous Sugartown Watermelons with our Grand Finale!! The Watermelon Classic: Bulls & Barrels rodeo!\n\n\n\nHow are we doing this you ask?\n\nJ2 Productions\, a sanctioned rodeo production company with the Louisiana Rodeo Cowboys Association\, is bringing in a portable rodeo arena with 6 bucking chutes complete with Arena Director\, Hunter Allen\, and staff to work the rodeo! \n\n\n\nWhere is the arena being set up?\n\nThe production company will begin assembling the arena the week of June 23 on the midway of the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds. If you're not sure where the "midway" is located\, that is where the carnival rides are normally set up at.\n\n\n\nWhy the fairgrounds?\n\nWe wanted to make this Growers Event as memorable as possible! We had to move our festival dates but we wanted to create a big splash for our area farmers! The last rodeo event held on the fairgrounds was over 25 years ago. After much discussion with the Beauregard Parish Fair Association\, it was determined what better way to celebrate than to bring the rodeo back for this one-time event. \n\n\n\nHow can you help?\n\nWell\, we need Arena Sponsors! This event wasn't in our original scheduled line-up but when a door opens... This type of sponsorship is not a normal occurrence for us. We worked with the rodeo production company to gather a list of the best sponsorship opportunities to offer our Chamber Members and came up with the following:\n\n 3 X 5 Logo Flags ($100): Limited to 10 Flags and will be carried throughout the rodeo displaying the sponsors Name/Logo. Flags are given to the sponsor after the event. Also\, comes with 4 Rodeo Tickets!\n Inside Arena Signage ($200): Limited to 15 Arena Sign Sponsors. Sponsors are announced throughout the rodeo. Comes with 3x5 Banner or Sponsor can provide banner of any size. Also\, comes with 4 Rodeo Tickets!\n Bucking Chute Sponsor ($300): Limited to 6 Chute Sponsors. Sponsors Names are announced throughout the rodeo events. Comes with VIP Seating! (See VIP listing below).\n Barrel Sponsor ($500): Limited to 1 (one) Barrel Sponsor. 3 Barrels will display the sponsors Logo/Name along with the event logo. Sponsor Names are announced throughout the rodeo events. Comes with VIP Seating! (See VIP listing below).\n 12 ft Out-Gate Sponsor ($1000): Limited to 1 (one) Out-Gate Sponsor. 12 foot banner display area. Displayed in the center of the bucking chutes and will be prominently displayed throughout the event. Sponsor Names are announced throughout the rodeo events. Comes with VIP Seating! (See VIP listing below).\n VIP Box Seating ($250): Limited to 10 Boxes available! Includes 8 Reserved Seats in Box Seat along Arena sides. Box Seat areas are 10 x 10 foot and divided with metal barricades.
