About Us

Our Mission is to moblize trained volunteers to advocate for the needs of abused and neglected children appointed by the courts.

To build, support, and advocate for a statewide network of Court-Appointed Volunteers to speak for abused and neglected children.

The National Court CASA/GAL Association, together with state and local member programs, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child who has experienced abused or neglected can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.

An additional resource for information and referral is the Louisiana Child Abuse Hotline, available toll-free, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
